UNDERSTANDING YOUR SYMPTOMS
What are the symptoms of fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a long-term condition associated with widespread pain, tenderness, fatigue and sleep difficulties. People can also experience problems with concentration or memory. Research points to differences in how pain signals are processed, although the cause is not fully understood. The experience varies, and clinicians assess symptoms while considering other possible or coexisting conditions.
Widespread pain
Aching, burning or throbbing pain may occur across several body areas.
Tenderness
Touch or pressure may feel more painful than you would expect.
Fatigue
An overwhelming sense of tiredness can affect even familiar daily tasks.
Sleep difficulties
Trouble sleeping may leave you struggling with both rest and daytime energy.
Fibro fog
Concentration, clear thinking or remembering things may feel more difficult.
Sensory sensitivity
Light, noise, smells or temperature may feel harder to tolerate.
Symptoms can have more than one cause, and experiences vary. A symptom list cannot tell you whether you have fibromyalgia. A healthcare professional can assess your symptoms and decide which tests or follow-up are appropriate.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY, TOGETHER
Less to remember. More to talk about.
A symptom journal gives the day-to-day details of life with fibromyalgia a place to go. With Jetty, you can talk or type about your symptoms and daily life while they’re still fresh.
Jetty keeps your health notes organized over time, helping you look back on changes and prepare the symptom history and questions you want to bring to your next appointment.
What to put in your symptom journal
Tell Jetty where pain showed up, how sleep felt and what fatigue or brain fog interrupted. You can capture an ordinary moment without needing a polished explanation of your whole day.
Keep activity, rest and daily demands beside symptom notes to revisit with your clinician. Look for questions worth discussing, while leaving room for days that do not follow a clear pattern.
Questions you might bring: What else should we assess alongside my pain and fatigue? How can we include sleep and concentration in my care goals?
