4. Data Access and Security
We implement information security measures designed to maintain the security and integrity of the information that we collect and maintain. Examples of security measures that we use include, but are not limited to, the following:
Data Encryption:We employ multiple layers of encryption to protect your data throughout its lifecycle.
Encryption in Transit: All data sent between your device and our application servers is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). This protects your information as it travels over the internet.
Encryption at Rest: All of your data is stored in an encrypted format in our databases. We use Google Cloud SQL and Firebase Firestore, both of which automatically encrypt data at rest by default.
This layered approach ensures your sensitive information is protected both as it travels to our secure cloud environment and while it is stored on our systems.
Data Access: Authorized Jetty team members may review your full, identifiable voice and text logs on a regular basis to verify accuracy, improve the product, fix bugs and refine early-stage features. This review is not limited to anonymized or aggregated data.
Incident Response: While we take measures to protect your data, no system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach, we will take immediate steps to contain the incident, investigate the breach, and notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws.
Troubleshooting and Support Access: To provide effective technical support and troubleshoot issues, authorized Jetty employees may temporarily access your account to view the Services as you see them. This capability is used strictly for diagnosing and resolving problems you have reported or that we have detected.
We regularly assess the effectiveness of our data security measures and may modify such measures, as appropriate, to adequately protect information that we collect and maintain. Despite the security measures we implement, there are inherent risks in transmission of information over the Internet and therefore we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access to or use of information will never occur.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share data in the following limited cases:
With service providers who help us operate our platform—such as cloud hosting, voice and language processing, and email delivery. These partners only process data on our behalf.
In anonymized or aggregated form, we may highlight common patterns seen among people tracking similar symptoms or lifestyle factors—without revealing any personal details.
If required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or legal request from government authorities.
6. Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of third-party providers to help us deliver and improve Jetty’s core features—like hosting our infrastructure, processing voice and text, analyzing data, generating agent interaction instructions, and generating AI-powered snapshots & widgets.
These providers may have access to certain personal or non-personal information, but only as needed to perform their services on our behalf.
Use of Language Models (LLMs)
Jetty uses large language models (LLMs) to generate summaries, insights, and conversational responses based on the information you share.
While these models help power Jetty’s experience, they may sometimes produce inaccurate or unexpected output. You should not rely on Jetty for medical advice, and we encourage you to double-check any health-related suggestions with a qualified provider.
When you use a feature that relies on an LLM, the information you have provided (like your symptoms, lifestyle entries, and goals) will be shared with these providers to generate a response.
Model Training
By default, Jetty does not share your data with third-party providers for the purpose of training their models. We only use your information to personalize your experience or improve our own services.
